Paul Mooney

My brother came into town and we went to go see Paul Mooney at Carolines! Paul has toned down from the days of whitening his teeth by saying the word "Nigger" but that was just one word, he is still on his game, profound, racy and damn funny. "I always drop in some history." says Mooney. "It's knowledge. There's always a message in my comedy and you may not get it that night – it's like time bombs. It'll get you a week later. You'll understand." The other comedians were funny as well. Hostess Robin Montague was a funny ear full and new comer Maronzio Vance's comedic timing was uncanny. All in all it was a real treat. Paul, Robin, Maronzio, and Carolines thanks for the laughs.
